The Satilla River meanders more than 200 miles through South Georgia on
its way to the ocean. Its water tea-colored from the adjoining swamps,
this peaceful river has remained largely undeveloped, with no industry
on its banks.

Although there are tiny communities scattered here and there, Bailey
Mill is one of the more isolated spots. The property has nearly two
miles of river frontage, with the first mile across the river owned by
the State of Georgia and therefore untouched.
The canoes and floating dock provided with the property allow swimming
and quiet boating, adding to your enjoyment of the peaceful river.
